Roku is the childhood friends of fire lord Sozin whom started the war. Roku
is from the fire nation and was the Avatar preceeded by Aang 100 years later. At first when Sozin discovered that Roku was
to be the Avatar he was still a child, and ok with it. But as Roku went off to learn all four elements, and returned ten years
later he learned that Sozin had become fire lord, but they were still friends. Sozin then asked if Roku would help him make
the fire nation the most powerful in the word, Roku declined. And then later on Roku learned that Sozin had gone on with his
plans, Roku was furious and warned Sozin. Twenty- Five years later Roku was on an home island sleeping, when a volcano on
the island started to erupt, it was too much.
Eventually Sozin came to help, but ended up betraying Roku and causing him
his demise. Roku is always there when Aang needs help and is very serious, while learning airbending he was friends with Monk
Gyatso. Roku was the one who told Aang about Sozins comet on the solstice when Rokus spirit could return
