Roku's Island was home to Avatar Roku, his wife Ta Min and other people also lived on the island. The island was deserted
after a volcano destroyed the town along with Avatar Roku whom tried to protect the town by trying to redirect the lava flow.
As of now the island is not known to be inhabited by any people and is seen to be barren.
Roku and his wife were sleeping when the volcano started to erupt. Roku tried his best to stop the lava from destroying
the town, but it was too much and it ended up in his demise. Rokus island is a small fire nation island which was a prosperous
village. Aang visits the island in the episode 'The Avatar and the Firelord' to learn about Roku and Sozins past.
