Kyoshi Island is located off of the Earth Kingdom and was established
by Avatar Kyoshi herself to protect her people. The island is still inhabited, the Kyoshi Warriors and a whole village
of people live on Kyoshi Island. The Kyoshi Warriors use metal fans to attack an oppenet often using a waterbenders
philosophy of using the opponets force against them .
Kyoshi Island was once part of the Earth Kingdom, a warlord Chin the Great was
envoking ruthless dictatorship. So Kyoshi used bending to split the island from the mainland, she also caused Chin to die
in the process. The people of Kyoshi celebrate Kyoshi Day, the day of their independence from Chin.
The Kyoshi warriors eventually left the island to join the war effort. Most
of the homes on Kyoshi are built of wood. Their is also a shrine to Kyoshi which includes some of her past relics.
